Alan Emmott Centre

I am here for a CultureChats event. It seems the people who manage the place are not exactly great with knowing who's renting the place, because when we arrived, the doors were locked and we had to wait for someone to come and unlock them. Apart from that, it's a small place, but it's also a nice building in a residential area.

This is a nice venue for a small wedding or for a space to hold an event. We rented this space for a seminar here for about 50 people. I liked how bright and clean it was. There are washrooms downstairs. Lovely setting too but parking is a huge problem with the small parking lot and limited street parking. I don't know where people would park if it was a wedding. If you're wearing comfy shoes you can park farther away on a side street but not fun looking for parking!

It is a great hall to rent. Very spacious. Good kitchen. They sent up all the tables and chairs for you. Has few free parking spits on site. There is free street parking on the street and the street below ( just behind the building). There are many washrooms. Bern too many events here.
