The coaching is amazing, the facilities are wonderful, and nothing beats the beautiful serene lake. It’s such a gem hidden quietly in a pocket of nature just off the highway! ❤️

I had a good hike around Burnaby Lake. I took my time on the walk, because I still have a bit of pain in my lower back, hip, and leg. A social group took me there, then back to the center drop-in afterwards. We all had a snack at the Pavilion afterwards with whatever our staff brought.

Great spot to take the Paddleboard for a spin. Lots of wildlife to view including beavers, herons, ducks and geese.

Probably the best rowing regatta I've been to. Organized, great course, excellent refs / starters. And there's a really nice pavilion, with air conditioning and good food and chairs where you can watch the finish line. Love it!

This is a very peaceful place to relax and enjoy a view of Burnaby Lake with lots of birds flying around. There is a large wooden deck beside the rowing pavilion to view the lake. At this time, June 2025, there are no benches on the deck, we had to bring our own chairs. The parking lot has a big sloped ramp that is wheelchair-friendly to get to the deck. There is a good parking lot that has room on weekdays.
