I had booked Face Boutique well in advance for my baby shower makeup and hairstyle, specifically requesting the work to be done by the owner herself. She confirmed the booking and assured me multiple times that she would personally be doing my makeup and hair. However, at the very last minute, she backed out and informed me that she had taken on a wedding order and was heading to Ottawa instead. She offered to send one of her artists to my home, which I declined on the call, clearly stating that I only wanted the owner to do my look as promised. Despite this, she insisted and sent her artist anyway. The artist who came did a horrible job. The makeup was completely off – patchy foundation, unblended eyeshadow, and lipstick that didn’t suit me at all. My hairstyle was even worse – flat, messy, and nothing like what I had requested. It was truly heartbreaking to see my baby shower, one of the most important and memorable days of my life, ruined because of her lack of professionalism and commitment. If the owner already had a wedding booking, she should never have taken my appointment. It shows that her only focus is money, not customer satisfaction or integrity. I do NOT recommend Face Boutique to anyone. Please think twice before trusting her with your special day.
