Kurrywala Indian Restaurant Burnaby

Went there because of the Dine out Vancouver. All the food is good. The service is superb. They even gave free fries for my little one not once but twice(because she finish the first one and ask for another one😂 🤩 . From the appetizer to the dessert we enjoy it all. I know the milkshake here is good but we are too full to get a drink. Definitely will come back. 👍

We dropped in here to see what their food was like. It was SO good!👍👍 We tried several items and then brought some more home to try after tasting a few there. The flavours are EXCELLENT🩷🩷 Some nicely added spices to some dishes that we had tried many times over years elsewhere really made us want to go back again💥! It is clean, the waitress is very nice, and the service is really good🟰🔙🔜The menu prices are very fair. They have a buffet every day at lunch, and it is such a reasonable price‼️ Inside was really nicely done, and I cannot say enough about this restaurant!✅️✅️✅️ Try it for yourself❗️

We’ve visited this gem of a local restaurant multiple times, and each visit has been a delightful experience filled with flavorful, wholesome food that keeps us coming back for more. Their chaat, dahi puri, samosas, butter chicken, and chilli paneer are all excellent. Filled with flavor, freshness and tradition. The tandoori rotis and naans are also very good (but need a bit more volume to them) with plenty of variety to choose from. If there’s one area that could use a bit more attention, it’s cleanliness (why I can’t give a 5/5). At times, the tables have stains even though they have been cleaned, and we’ve noticed the occasional water bottle with gravy marks during dine-in. While this doesn’t overshadow the great food and atmosphere, a little more consistency in cleaning would go a long way in enhancing the overall experience. That said, the ambience remains lovely hindi/bollwood music, comfortable seating, and a cozy local vibe. Every dish we’ve tried has met our high standards for both taste, freshness and portion size. We truly hope Kurrywala continues to thrive and maintain its quality over time, avoiding the pitfalls that sometimes affect other local favourites, so we can come back again and again.

Food isn't bad, but also not amazing in anyway compared to a few other places in the South Burnaby area. Staff is very nice, and provided good service. They also provided free papadams which was fantastic; not many indian restaurants do this.
