Excellent venue. Location, Location, Location. The weather cooperated with us back in September, and we got the best day of our lives with an amazing sunset to boot. Everything was perfect right from the get-go for our wedding. From the initial meet-up, menu and wine pairings, and to the communication and keeping us in the loop, everything was spot on. Everything was seamless, even when we had minor changes on the day of our wedding. Thank you to Carissa and her team for handling the event! Venue was perfect, simple yet elegant layout. The ambience and vibe were phenomenal Staff: Excellent team. Shout out to Carissa for everything Food: Excellent - Plated food was the way to go! Highly recommend Mintara, even just for a date night.

We recently celebrated our wedding at Mintara, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The venue itself is absolutely stunning, perched in a picturesque area overlooking downtown Vancouver. We were lucky to have a sunny day that allowed for a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the rose garden. The interior design of Mintara is modern and elegant, it immediately caught our attention when we were exploring venues. But what truly made the experience exceptional was working with Carissa, the venue coordinator. From our very first conversation, her warm, friendly, and approachable personality made us feel completely at ease. She offered a competitive package and guided us through every step, from coordinating with the City of Burnaby to food selection and overall event organization. On the wedding day, everything ran seamlessly. The outdoor seating was beautifully arranged, and the staff were professional, attentive, and organized. Carissa went above and beyond, checking in regularly, coordinating with other vendors, helping with our rehearsal, and even making sure we had food and snacks during our breaks. Our guests were thoroughly impressed with the cocktail hour, appetizers, fine dining, and dessert options. The menu offered a wide and delicious selection, and Carissa even ensured leftover food was packed for guests to take home, minimizing waste. She also helped coordinate our cake-cutting ceremony perfectly. Overall, we are deeply grateful to Carissa and the entire Mintara team for making our wedding day truly memorable. We recently had our wedding here at Mintara, and it was absolutely perfect! Carissa and her team were phenomenal — they went above and beyond, exceeding all of our expectations. The entire planning process was smooth and seamless, with excellent communication from start to finish. It was set to rain on our wedding day, but the team did everything they could to make our outdoor ceremony possible and to keep our guests comfortable, which meant so much to us. Their flexibility and dedication truly made the day stress-free and special. Our guests also couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the space was and how delicious the food was. We chose the buffet style, and even 2 weeks after the wedding, our family and friends are still telling us about how amazing everything tasted! We highly recommend choosing Mintara as your wedding venue!

Our wedding at Mintara was everything we hoped for and more. We chose to have a smaller celebration which made the day feel intimate, but the venue elevated it into something so elegant. The views were stunning, the atmosphere was relaxed yet special, and the plated dinner was an absolute highlight. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful and delicious it was, and it truly gave the evening such a timeless and elevated feel. What made the experience unforgettable wasn’t just the setting, but the people behind it. Carissa was such a blessing to us that day. She wasn’t our coordinator, but you wouldn’t have known it by how much she stepped in to help. She kept the timeline flowing, made sure we were doing okay, and somehow managed to be everywhere at once while still making us feel so cared for. Her calm energy and kindness made such a difference. She didn’t just do her job, she went above and beyond in a way that felt so genuine. I fell in love with this venue the first time we saw it and I’m so glad I found them! Every year on our anniversary we will be here!!
