tldr: five big stars, book Kelly & Tarina for your wedding right now !!! Booking the full planning service from Say Events was easily the best decision we made in our wedding journey. Both Kelly and Tarina were so supportive in bringing our wedding to the finish line. They were there every step of the way, from the venue, catering, and making decisions about vendors. They even did all of our decor, bringing our vision to life so beautifully, and being so attentive as we changed our minds throughout the process. Despite the fact that we were living eight timezones away from Vancouver while planning the wedding, they were always easy to reach and their communication was always on point. And as the day finally arrived, it was truly such a comfort and a relief to have Kelly by our side, managing the schedule, making sure we’ve eaten, and taking care of the million little things that come up during a wedding. Kelly and Tarina really helped to keep us on track and to keep us as stress-free as possible. They made what felt like an endless amount of work a breeze, their insight and expertise into the wedding industry is above and beyond, and their attention to detail is incredible. We really could not have pulled off the day without them. It was an absolute pleasure getting to work with them over the past year and a half. 1000/5 stars - Hiring Tarina and SAY Events Co was by far the best decision we made for our wedding. The day definitely would not have been so beautiful and seamless without Tarina's expertise. We opted for the partial planning and we are so happy we did. Tarina was able to offer her expert opinions and gently guide us in the direction we wanted our wedding to go. She suggested vendors and helped get quotes but it was up to us to ultimately decide and book who we had chosen. This was perfect for us as we still had the ability to move at our own pace but had help if we needed it. We also decided to purchase decor through SAY and everything turned out beautifully. We wanted the ability to DIY some pieces and Tarina as very flexible in taking over only the parts we didn't want to do ourselves. Tarina worked with me to ensure we were on the same page with the decor vision and everything was perfect! Leading up to the day and day of was when we really got to see Tarina shine. She took over the communication with our vendors to ensure everyone was on the same page and navigated the many last minute guest list changes with ease. Tarina was also so fun and so easy to communicate with. It felt like she was a friend holding our hands through the twists and turns of the wedding planning process. She was only a text away when we had a quick question or wanted an opinion. When the day came, I knew Tarina and her team would have everything handled but I was still blown away at how organized and seamless everything went. If there were any issues that came up, my partner and I had no idea because Tarina and her team were there to handle it. This took a load off my shoulders (and my mom's lol) so everyone could relax and enjoy their day. This may all sound like what a wedding coordinator is supposed to do but Tarina stood out from expectations. She checked in with both my partner and I throughout the night to ensure we had everything we needed (a drink, a snack, someone to bustle my gown). Having a glass of bubbly waiting for us as soon as we finished the ceremony was a small but much needed touch! She even found ways to subtly speed up the timeline because she knew we wanted to get as much time on the dancefloor at the end of the night. She remembered little details like this that we had mentioned and did her best to ensure they happened. I truly cannot sing Tarina and SAY Event Co's praises enough. TLDR; book SAY Events Co, you will be so happy you did!

Where to begin? SAY events was my first pick when it came to planning my small intimate backyard wedding and they did not disappoint. Tarina and Kelly made us feel like we were the most important couple in the world and that our opinions mattered. They were so easy to talk to and made the hectic process of planning a wedding so stress free and actually enjoyable. Both women are incredibly professional and organized while creating a fun work environment with their staff and guests. I didn't have to worry about a thing on the days leading up to my wedding and on the actual day of. They have a plethora of vendors that they work with and made perfect recommendations for our tent, table and chair rentals, suggested a dj who fit with our vibe and handled every small detail which otherwise I would have not known about. (Like suggesting table raisers for the bartenders so the bar was a nice height instead of being at waist level.) Their attention to detail and ability to turn my vision into a reality while staying within budget makes them the best in the business and I felt truly blessed to have such a strong and competent team supporting me on my wedding day. Tarina and Kelly are more than just planners, they took on the role of Fairy Godmothers, sprinkled my day with magic and made my Cinderella wedding a day I will never forget. Looking forward to future events so I can work with them again!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! My husband and I both agree that hiring Say Events was the best decision we made for our wedding (aside from marrying each other!) We truly could not have done it without them. Their valuable expertise, excellent communication and amazing personalities made our wedding planning process so smooth and enjoyable. Not to mention how our day went off without a hitch! As a wedding vendor myself AND a type A bride, I already know that wedding planners put out so many fires that the couple won't know about, but now I've lived it and can attest that you NEED to hire a planner for your wedding. The Say Events team did such a phenomenal job making the whole day come together through answering all my questions (I had a lot), building our timeline, organizing things with other vendors, setting up and taking down our decor, making sure we were on schedule but not rushing anything, pivoting when problems arose....I could go on and on. We were able to fully relax on our wedding day knowing that everything was taken care of and we couldn't have dreamed of a better experience! Thank you Kelly, Tarina and Shannon for helping us make our wedding day absolutely perfect!

♥️Seriously couldn’t of asked for a better team to look after us in the planning of our wedding. The minute I talked to them on the phone I knew they were my people! Everything was better than we could of ever imagined and everything just fell in to place. I can’t thank them enough for all the little things like getting someone to go to the store to get ice cream sandwiches for our daughters for after dinner😍 Because we were planning throughout a pandemic, we def had some moments where we didn’t know what was going to happen but both Tarina and Kelly made us feel calm and reassured that whatever we ended up doing would be amazing. We had venue changes, a cancelled reception and ceremony of only 10 to ending up being able to have 50 of our family and friends and most beautiful fun ceremony and reception ever! We got to have more than we ever expected was possible and planned in a very short time. They make wedding planning look easy. If you or anyone you know is looking for a couple of amazing women to help you with your big day, these are your ladies! ♥️
