Is Shan E Punjab Arts Club your business?
My daughter’s been doing giddha at Shane Punjab for only three years but the coaches dedication and effort can be shown when ever I see her dance. Coaches here helps students become better dancers while having fun and providing proper teaching staying true to our Punjabi heritage and culture. Pinda Bhaji puts time and effort into his teams teaching them traditional Punjabi words and boliya which is something coaches don’t respect these days. He’s been teaching for many years and is always uplifting, motivating, and encouraging his teams. For as long as I’ve been at Shane I’ve never had a bad experience and trust this club like it’s family. If you’re thinking off enrolling you’re children to an arts club I promise you that Shane won’t leave you disappointed.

I joined Shan-E-Punjab in 2016, and it’s been an incredibly positive part of my life ever since. What began as a hobby quickly became a true passion, especially through learning giddha, which connected me more deeply to my roots and culture. The supportive, welcoming environment created by Pinda Uncle and the team made all the difference. He’s more than just a teacher—he genuinely cares for his students and builds strong, respectful relationships with them and their families. I’ve always felt safe, encouraged, and part of a close community. This academy has helped shape my confidence, discipline, and love for dance. I would gladly recommend it to anyone looking to learn bhangra, giddha, or dhol. After years of personal experience, I can say that this academy is a place where dedication, passion, and commitment come together to create something truly special.

I feel grateful and proud to be connected with Shane Arts Academy. I have been attending classes with Phinda paaji since I was 10 years old, and now, well into my 30s, I can honestly say my experiences have been nothing but positive. My parents trusted him completely throughout my childhood, from late-night rehearsals to travelling internationally for competitions. Not once did we feel unsafe—on the contrary, he has always cared for his students like a father or older brother figure and has great relationships with students families. This academy has played a huge role in shaping who I am today. Dance became a lifelong passion for me because of the encouragement, discipline, and community I found here. I would not hesitate to send my future kids to Shane Arts Academy so they too can learn the art form and feel the same sense of belonging. There are hundreds of students who have learned and performed here over the years, many of whom still speak so highly of their time with the teachers—especially with Phinda uncle. His intentions and dedication to the art and the students have always been genuine. It’s easy to post strong words under anonymity, but if you truly faced issues with this academy , please have the courage to share your name so they can be addressed properly and directly. All I can say is my decades of experience tell me this academy is not toxic—it is a community built on trust, love for our culture, and countless beautiful memories

I have been dancing with Shan-E-Punjab since 2008. I was only five years old when I first started learning from Pinda Uncle, and now well into my late 20s, I can say that the values and discipline he has taught us through dance have shaped the way I live my day-to-day life. I’ve had the opportunity to participate in numerous international competitions, and throughout the years, Pinda Uncle has always taken care of us, first as kids, and now even as adults, treating us like his own. He truly cares for his students and is always open to listening. He treats all his students like family. If we ever have any issues, we can speak with him directly, and he always works with us to find a solution. Shan-E-Punjab has been a huge part of my life, and it’s also where I’ve met some of my closest friends. For the past 22 years, Pinda Uncle has been a positive role model not only for me but also for my two sisters, who have also been dancing here since they were kids. I am truly grateful for all the opportunities and memories that Shan-E-Punjab has given me. I highly recommend Shan-E-Punjab to anyone who wants to learn bhangra, giddha, or dhol! And if anyone ever has a concern or problem, I encourage you to reach out to the studio directly, they will always be willing to listen and help.

I’ve been doing giddha and bhangra with Shan-E-Punjab Arts Club for a long time and it has truly been an amazing experience. I especially want to mention Pinda Uncle because he has played such a big role in shaping us as dancers. He may be a little firm at times, but that’s exactly what pushes us to grow and become better. I’ve traveled to competitions with the club, including Toronto and other places, and have spent full days at the studio. My parents have always trusted sending me with Uncle because of the kind of person he is. He’s protective, caring, and always makes sure we feel safe, and he has always treated me like his own daughter. This club is more than just a dance team, it’s truly a family, and I can confidently say we all feel that bond here. Uncle has always shown up for us, supported us, and guided us not only in dance but also in life. I’m so grateful to be part of Shan-E-Punjab Arts Club and to call it my second home.
